Kisa Spa
For the further comfort of our guests we have recently upgraded our facility to include an authentic Thai Spa managed by Professional Spa ovation of Thailand. After a hard days trek or just for some pampering one can enjoy the many massages provided by trained masseuses as well as enjoy the steam and sauna facilities. The Spa is located in the basement and an appointment can be made by calling the front office. Many of our guests have used the facility and given wonderful feedback. We hope you too will try the Spa during your stay.
Ala Carte Restaurant
We have often heard guests wish for a more authentic Bhutanese menu. To accommodate this wish, we have opened our new Ala Carte Restaurant dedicated to serving the genuine ‘hot stuff’ we call ema Datshi or chili cheese, along with other local favourites of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. For a wider choice the restaurant also serves Indian, Chinese and continental menus.
Conference
The newly completed Conference room on the top floor is an added attraction to Kisa. The spectacular views, openness and fresh air will no doubt encourage positive meeting outcomes. The room can accommodate up to about 25 to 30 people. For a smaller groups of up to 12 we have the Board Room located in the Lobby. For the convenience of our guests we offer free WI-Fi services available throughout the hotel. This has been welcome addition to make our guests’ stay with us more comfortable especially as everyone needs to stay connected daily.
Guest Facilities
Gatoe is the bar located conveniently in the lobby. Placed in a corner it is cosy and affords privacy for its clients. We serve foreign as well as local made drinks. Many of our guests enjoy the Kisa special whose ingredients are a closely guarded secret! This is also the place if you just wish to sit over a cup of coffee and sandwich or cake. This becomes a lively area every Saturday when we invite a popular band to play in the lobby. The music is catchy and many guests can’t resist the urge to join the singing and sometimes even play an instrument.
Business Center
The board room is also located on the same floor. As alternative to the conference room the board serves the same purpose for a limited number of about 12 people. It also serves as the business center and provides various services such as secretarial, computer usage, facsimile, high speed internet access, colour printing facilities, photocopying, printing and binding including sending couriers. The center can assist with appointments and coordinating meetings.
Car Parking
Complimentary parking spaces are offered to hotel guests subject to availability of space
Car Rentals
Round the clock service is available with chauffeur for airport transfers, driving within the city as well as out-station visits.
Cashier
The cashier is located in the lobby for foreign currency exchange, account settlement and safe deposit boxes. The hotel like all banks is legally allowed to exchange foreign currency to Ngultrums, though once accepted, it is not allowed to change currency back to foreign currency. The ngultrum has the same exchange rate as the Indian rupee.
Check-Out
Check-out time is 12 noon. However if you wish to check-out later we would be pleased to accord a late check-out without extra charge till 3pm. Up till 6pm 50% of your room rate is applicable, after which a full room rate would be applied.
Cheques
Personal cheques are not accepted by the hotel.
Credit Cards
We accept all major credit cards.
Clean my room card
If you wish your room to be cleaned in the morning, please hang the card on the doorknob outside your door. Please call housekeeping for urgent service. Extension no. 100
Doctor
The hotel doctor is on call. The doctor will be able arrange the services of a specialist doctor if required.
Drinking water
Two bottles of complimentary drinking water are provided. It is also available in your mini-bar.
DVD Player
Player is in your cabinet for your viewing pleasure. Please call front desk for your choice of movies. This service is available in the suites.
Newspapers
All guestrooms will be provided with complimentary copies of a local daily.
Tea and coffee maker
Situated above your Mini Bar. This facility is complimentary.
Visitors
Visitors are not permitted after 10pm, unless registered as residents of hotel. The management reserves the right of entry into the hotel.
